Gravel Audio
Privacy policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
We collect as little as possible: what’s needed to take a payment, deliver your license key, and see roughly how many people visit the store. We don’t sell your data, and the plugins don’t send your audio anywhere.
When you buy something
Payments are handled by Stripe. You enter your card or payment details on Stripe’s checkout page; we never see or store your card number. Stripe shares with us your email address, what you bought, the amount, and your country (for tax). Depending on your account settings, Stripe may act as the reseller of record and handle sales tax and VAT. Stripe’s privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
We keep your order details and the license keys we issued for that order in our Stripe account, so we can help if you lose a key or need a refund.
When you visit the store
- Hosting: the store runs on Vercel, which keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser and the page requested) to run and protect the service.
- Visitor statistics: we use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages and links bring visitors. It doesn’t use cookies or build a profile of you.
- Your dark/light choice is saved in your own browser (local storage) and never sent to us.
In the plugins
- Gravel’s conversion runs on your own computer. Your recordings and converted audio stay on your computer and are not uploaded to us.
- License keys are checked offline. Your key and the trial start date are saved in files on your computer so the plugin can tell whether it’s licensed or how much trial time is left.
When you email us
If you email vilbrh@gmail.com, we use your message and email address only to reply and help you.
Sharing and keeping data
We share personal data only with the services above (Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting and statistics, and our email provider for support), or when the law requires it. We keep order records as long as needed for licensing, support, tax and accounting, then delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing us. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California) you may have further rights, and we’ll honor them. We may need to keep some records, such as orders, where the law requires it.
The store isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
